Talking about the development prospects of woven bags in my country

Abstract: I believe everyone should be familiar with the container, which is a large container used to transport and store items. Today, the editor of boda plastic will introduce to you the name of this item which is only one word from the container, which is called FIBC.

1

my country’s plastic woven container bags are mainly exported to Japan and South Korea, and are vigorously developing markets in the Middle East, Africa, the United States and Europe. Due to the production of oil and cement, the Middle East has a great demand for FIBC products; in Africa, almost all of its state-owned oil companies mainly develop plastic woven products, and there is also a great demand for FIBCs. Africa can accept the quality and grade of China’s FIBC, so there is no major problem in opening the market in Africa. The United States and Europe have high requirements for the quality of FIBCs, and China’s FIBCs still cannot meet their requirements.

The quality of the FIBC is very important. There are strict standards for FIBC products in the international market, and the focus of the standards is different. Japan pays attention to details, Australia pays attention to form, and the European Community standards pay attention to product performance and technical indicators, which are concise. The United States and Europe have strict requirements on the anti-ultraviolet, anti-aging, safety factor and other aspects of FIBC.
“Safety factor” is the ratio between the maximum bearing capacity of the product and the rated design load. It mainly depends on whether there are any abnormalities in the contents and the bag body, and whether the joint is damaged or not. In similar standards at home and abroad, the safety factor is generally set at 5-6 times. FIBC products with five times the safety factor can be used safely for longer. It is an indisputable fact that if the anti-ultraviolet auxiliaries are added, the application range of FIBCs will be wider and more competitive.
FIBCs mainly contain bulk, granular or powdery items, and the physical density and looseness of the contents have significantly different effects on the overall results. As for the basis for judging the performance of FIBC, it is necessary to test as close as possible to the product that the customer wants to load. This is the “standard filler for testing” written in the standard. As far as possible, technical standards should be used to meet the challenges of market economy. . Generally speaking, there is no problem with FIBCs that pass the lifting test.
FIBC products have a wide range of applications, especially for packaging bulk cement, grain, chemical raw materials, feed, starch, minerals and other powder and granular objects, and even dangerous goods such as calcium carbide. It is very convenient for loading, unloading, transportation and storage. . FIBC products are in the rising stage of development, especially the one-ton, pallet form (one pallet with one FIBC, or four) FIBCs are more popular.

The standardization of the domestic packaging industry lags behind the development of the packaging industry. The formulation of some standards is inconsistent with the actual production, and the content is still at the level of more than ten years ago. For example, the “FIBC” standard was formulated by the transportation department, the “Cement Bag” standard was formulated by the building materials department, the “Geotextile” standard was formulated by the textile department, and the “Woven Bag” standard was formulated by the plastics department. Due to the lack of pertinence of product use and full consideration of the interests of the industry, there is still no unified, effective and balanced standard.

The use of FIBCs in my country is expanding, and the export of FIBCs for special purposes such as calcium carbide and minerals is also increasing. Therefore, the market demand for FIBC products has great potential and the development prospects are very broad.
